In the hunt for the perfect ingredient we realise we’re in a race against time. What’s the perfect ingredient today might not be tomorrow and that is why our kitchen is constantly changing on a daily basis. We prefer to use fresh local produce for our dishes, therefore our menus are seasonal to ensure that we make the most of what’s fresh and from the local area.

At the Royal Oak, our food is popular with both guests and locals who can dine in our comfortable relaxing atmosphere.

We have a large choice of ales and guest ales, fine wines and gins to choose from as well as teas and coffees and soft drinks.

Food is served daily and on Sundays join us for our superb traditional Sunday roast.

Everyone, from restaurants to home cooks, can make a difference, but it first requires a will to do so. Many of our ideas are not the most technically advanced, but they do require effort.
