Halloweek is Coming to The Royal Oak

From Sunday 25th to Saturday 31st October, The Royal Oak is getting a little darker, a little spookier and a lot more fun.

Autumn in the New Forest already has plenty of atmosphere, but this October we are adding a few ghosts, ghouls and Halloween surprises of our own.

Halloweek at The Royal Oak runs from 25th to 31st October, with something for younger visitors during the week before things take a more grown-up turn on Halloween night.

A spooky week for all the family

Halloween should not just be about one night, so throughout Halloweek we will have plenty to keep younger witches, wizards, ghosts and monsters entertained.

Children can decorate their own spooky biscuits, get creative in our scary drawing competition, and anyone arriving in their best creepy costume can pick up free sweets.

It is a chance to make a visit to the pub part of the half-term fun, with plenty for the grown-ups to enjoy at the same time.

Whether you are joining us for something to eat, stopping in after an autumn walk or simply looking for somewhere to bring the family during half term, expect The Oak to have taken on a distinctly spooky feel.

Then Halloween night takes over

On Saturday 31st October, Halloweek reaches its finale with our Halloween Party at The Royal Oak.

This time it is the adults' turn to dress up. We will have an adult costume competition, with a meal for two going to the winner.

There will also be Halloween cocktails, music and lights, a photo booth, dancing and a late finish.

Halloweek is part of a busy programme of events at The Royal Oak, alongside live music, our monthly quiz, Friday cocktails and seasonal events throughout the year.
