Lovely words from our guests
A few recent comments from guests who have enjoyed food, service and Sunday lunch at The Royal Oak.
Excellent experience all round
Great hospitality and a very helpful attitude from the moment we walked in, followed by great food, well cooked and beautifully presented.
Eight of us attended a family birthday meal, all choosing different dishes from the Sunday menu, and there was not one complaint or disappointment.
It was our first time at this venue, but it will not be our last. A new chef, apparently, and I suggest they keep hold of them.
Delicious Sunday roasts
We had a lovely time at The Royal Oak today. Delicious Sunday roasts were enjoyed by all five of us.
The very friendly and attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable.
A great spot to stop if you are coming home from the beach or having a wander through the New Forest.
What a gem
Delicious Sunday lunch in this beautifully located pub. Friendly service and very good value.
Melt-in-the-mouth lamb shank roast
My partner and I went to The Royal Oak for Sunday roast. We had the lamb shank roast and it was absolutely delicious. It melted off the bone.
All the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and cosy on a very rainy afternoon. We would absolutely recommend it.
